a bunch of beautiful words already this morning, and it's only 8:05. I caught up on the blogs of people I love, and after reading so many funny, well written and heartfelt pieces I got a little shy about commenting, and wasn't sure I'd have the right thing to say, and besides, the most profound thing that I've been thinking this morning is "Why am I so attached to my bathroom literature?"
I keep a book in the cupboard above the toilet, kind of hidden away between the liquid hand soap and my makeup bag, and I pull it out every time I'm in there. I read a little bit, a few pages or a chapter, occasionally sitting in there for longer than I really need to just to get to a good stopping place. It's a book I've read more than once, but it's delightful every time, especially when I only read a little bit every day.
I brought another book I've been reading outside the bathroom into the bathroom today, but I just couldn't get myself to read it in there even though it's been on my brain since last night. The potty is for The Enchanted April and that's all there is to it.
Thank you, Geo, for the Beautiful Blogger award, I feel kind of like a duckling who's fished something delicious out of the bottom of the pond. I will do my official post about it later, and thank you for adding all the links to fabulous blogs, I did a bit of blog lurking this morning and quite enjoyed myself.
I have one more bathroom book confession, I "borrowed" it (the book) from Heidi about 5 (6?) years ago and still haven't returned it. Do you still want it back Heidi? Shall I return it when I finally finish it again, or buy you a new un-bathroomed copy?

LOL!!!
I have been wondering where that book went! I have been pining for it, as I have had the most enchanted April myself this year. But no: I don't want it back. :) You keep that copy in your bathroom. I will get my own copy.
love you bunches and bunches of daffodils and irises.

You're welcome.
Enchanted April sounds like a dangerous to read in the flushable library; good thing Jacob can pee outside if he needs to!
(And with a remark like that left on your blog, why feel shy ever again about any comment you might want to leave anywhere? I'm here to blaze the crassness trail. Go for it.)
